A Regenerative Gesture
Overview:
The purpose of this project was to regenerate the life and character of living within the new Hutt City Riverlink development, creating a new urban island between road, rail and the emerging Hutt City.
The project aims to create architectural typologies that not only provide people with a new style of living but a sense of beauty and silence within their homes. Looking at natural light, playful archetypes, and nature as the key conditions and Japanese micro-housing as the main precedent. The project aims to enhance the existing urban fabric by establishing a more lively and spontaneous architecutre.
