Binge Culture Website

For my final project for COMD241, I created a graphic novel. Here's the synopsis that I wrote which I think sums up the novel: After finding an old, shrivelled pea under her refrigerator, Aster realises that she’s hit rock bottom. She’s mid-late 20s, stuck in a dead-end job she hates, she’s lonely 98% of the time, she relies on her flawed coping mechanisms to get by, and she’s in love with her best friend. Confronted by all the things that are going wrong in her life, Aster comes across a flyer that might just help her take the first step to working out what she wants from life.

The Art of Finding Yourself

A type specimen inspired by nefarious literary character and built off the inspiration of black-letter structures and rules.

Anomie: a type specimen

For this project, students were challenged to work with concrete as a structural system. This report considers the appropriate sizes and spans of structural members for the gravity structure and for the lateral load bearing structure that resists seismic and wind forces.
