Brooklyn Library Redevelopment

A construction drawing set for a tall apartment building located in New York. This project used steel as the structural system and focused on New Zealand construction methods, material limitations and architectural CAD drawing.

Data Diary

The house of knowledge uses ‘structure as architecture’ and incorporates nature in to the design, providing a calming and connecting experience for the user. Designing for light was a key aspect of exploration, investigating the close relationship that it hold with architectural form and space.
