Inspired by volcanic rock formations in Iceland, the Basalt Chair is designed using procedurally generated systems in Blender. The individual columns emerge from the ground and gently cusp the organic seat to create an interesting contrast between the forms.

An exploration of the complexity of the letter 'y'—primarily focusing on the sound aspect that the letter creates.

y, Aa–Z! : a typographic installation

This project looks at the ways settler-colonisation has shaped the exisiting suburban landscape of Titahi Bay, and the communities residing within it. It seeks to engage landscape-led ways of understanding place and reconnection within the rapidly changing context emerging from treaty-settlements and transfer to iwi ownership. This challenges the conventional capitalist (extractive) methods of site analysis, land ownership, and development practices that have disrupted and degraded the communities’ relationships with whenua.
