A typeface inspired by the revolutionary Hangul of Ahn Sang Soo. My work builds on his aesthetic through an abstraction of English characters made to look like Chinese Hanzi.

Strokes: a type specimen

The house of knowledge uses ‘structure as architecture’ and incorporates nature in to the design, providing a calming and connecting experience for the user. Designing for light was a key aspect of exploration, investigating the close relationship that it hold with architectural form and space.

The House of Knowledge

"Commonplace?" materializes a desire that seeks to highlight the letter 'a'. As one of the vowels, 'a' is often forgotten in the conscious mind, much like the carpets underneath your feet.
