Sustainable Design Prototype

Check is an app designed for self-breast-examinations and education, to provide tools, support and awareness for breast cancer. The project objective is to encourage users to establish a habit of self-exams to detect cancer at an early stage.

Check

The proposed installation looks into providing students with individual spaces to be their cocoon. These spaces allow students to use their electronic devices to study, make video calls and relax. The design idea offers small pods attached to the atrium columns with different shapes and colours. As the design works primarily with the columns, it could easily be applicable to the other levels.

Cocoon

People recovering from stroke who have upper limb problems aren’t fully adhering to their rehabilitation exercises and how clinicians aren’t able to keep up to date with their patient’s progress. As a part of a smart wearable stroke rehabilitation system, this project developed an intuitive app for clinicians to track progress and interact with patients.
