Flow, inspired by windy Wellington and computational laminar air flow, the chair supports the sitter on almost invisible layers of air.

Inspired by volcanic rock formations in Iceland, the Basalt Chair is designed using procedurally generated systems in Blender. The individual columns emerge from the ground and gently cusp the organic seat to create an interesting contrast between the forms.
