Kei Te Pehea Koe?

The focus of this assignment is to develop a strong dialogue between architectural form, light and atmosphere. The possibilities of natural light have been observed to establish rich atmospheric qualities in the formation of a coherent, emotive and bold architectural dialogue which identifies the essence of the design. Driven by these atmospheric qualities, the design is an integration of complex systems of light and detail in the formation of a unique design which simulates a range of experiences and conditions, responding directly to the architecture which attracts and accommodates activity and people.

Peregrina is an exploration into the role that structure plays in the type legibility. This sans-serif typeface seeks to redefine the boundaries of modern day's 'Akzidenz-Grotestk'(s)'.
